Hmmm, what is this GlobalWin NCB fan, of which he speaks?

genuine question, or teasing?:)

anyway, Globalwin NCB from this roundup:
http://www.madshrimps.be/gotoartik.php?articID=421
and this test: http://www.madshrimps.be/?action=getarticle&articID=516

excellent price/performance/noise balance; better than the Noctua fans as they don't deliver the pressure needed for effective CPU cooling; although the Sharkoon fan did outclass the NCB in the 2nd test; I already had the NCB set up and tested for CPU heatsinks, so I decided to stick with it:)

teasing, no doubt; NB is a big fan (pun intended) of the GW NCB, it's just a shame the distribution outside of NA is so poor.

Luckily scandinavians are blessed with good supply of Rebranded NCB fans under Libermann name. I've monitored situation in shop that sells them and they always have abundant in stock and supplier has abundant.

I also noticed that when NCB fans were mentioned in here to beat Noctua's and were cheaper, their sale started to increase. Perhaps co-incidence, perhaps not. I'm planning to order two more NCB fans soon. I am very satisfied on my NCB fan. And I am even more satisfied after I corner cut it ^^

One thing that's annoying about MadShrimps is that they always have such a high ambient noise level :/

Hi,

After reading the article, I'm really disapointed by the Gemin II, too bad noise/perf ratio and I just canceled my order.

Well I think it's time to migrate to the Ultra 120 extrem as it's seems better at this game (noise/perf).

Thanks to you jmke for your test , very instructive.
