got my self a sapphire X2, at IDLE its runs at 25% and is actualy not heard over my 14 cm fan @ 700 RPM, thats juat awsome. but at loat it gets a litle to loud. so anyone done some modding, seen any nice projects on the web?
i know 2 vf900 is possible, but he accelero s1 has some soft pipes so maby some modding there? with a quiet fan ....

What about water cooling it ? I have the exact same Sapphire 3870X2 and the temp at max load never exceed 51 deg C (idles at 38 deg C) :

h2O si no option, got a home made httpc case and cooling is mostly based on 2 14cm fans as inntake and its fitted in my tv-table so there is no room for a radiator. even though its the best option, but there is no room

its said that the holes in the X2 are to small for the HR3. anyhow i just sendt an order for 2 vf900, so i hope this is the way to go. if its to luod i got some good fans to try out. mot importent is that the vf900 has a goog heatsink
