Good Blue LED fans?

Post by Copyright » Mon Jun 30, 2008 9:53 am

I am running some low rpm Antec Tri Cools currently and am looking for something that can move more air with less noise. I know the SilenX fans have a bad history but how good are thier blue LED fans? They are rated at 14db and 72cfm which I am sure is not accurate but I am curiuos how they compare to the Antecs I have now. Thanks for any input or any other brands I may want to try.

I find the Coolermaster LED fans to be fairly decent using Asus fan control.

In general, clear fans (with or without LEDs) tend to be a little noiser (as in bad sound quality) than their opaque counterparts as the pure resin used in making them is a little stiffer and more prone to resonance.

Not an answer to your question, but hopefully some good advice regardless.

Well considering I already have a blue LED Antec im sure there is something out there that is quieter and moves more air.

This is the fan I was looking at.....

EDIT: Im reading way to many reviews of this fan taking a dump after 6 months. Any others out there any good?

Scythe has some blue led fans besides their white led fans. They might be pretty good...

Yate Loon makes their D12S(H,M,L) fans in a variety with blue LEDs. I can't speak to their performance, though.
