Looks awesome. Looks a like a bigger, tower style P182 with Temjin side vents and a bit of Antec 1200. So many hard drive slots! The PSU looks great too.
The prototype looks like it needs improvement, but it could become a great case. Don't like the front door.

Tell us what YOU think of it.
EDIT: Actually, it looks the same size as a P182. It's not a tower.

I don't think it's possible for that case to be any uglier.

The P1000 looks horrible, but that PSU is interesting, although not compatable with the majority of cases.

Never have the words EPIC FAILURE been more appropriate. Is Dr. Frankenstein up to his old tricks again? What a hideous monstrosity.
Suggestion: assemble mob + pitchforks?

Ive seen this other places too and the word everyones buzzing about is the PSU. What am I missing, cuz to me thats a normal PSU, aside from the externally mounted fan on the front.

Yep, sticking with my P180.
Couldn't they indulge their l337 designs on a different product line? I thought the mini P180 was terrible with the fugly door designs (otherwise it looked like instant win to me) and now this crap?
Soon we'll have the Antec P12367 with a friggin alien head or some such nonsense.
also, get them kids off my lawn *shakes cane*

Actually, that's the first thing I thought. Did Antec start making OEM for Alienware or something? It's a butt-ugly case and I'm not sure what the point of it is (especially the half-door).
Sigh, I almost wish for the days of beige boxes....NO WAIT, I TAKE IT BACK!!!

Yeah. Like I predicted somewhere in another thread, the production version will have a side window and a neon.

Antec did good on the P18x series but oh boy they fucked up now. Talk about not know what your customers like. They were problably just lucky with the P18x series considering what they spit out this time.

You've got to be joking.
I'll be stocking up on spare P182s while they're still available.

Come on, it's not that bad. They could add a window and paint it pink.
But Antec, where are you going?
With each new case they show that they can make it look worse.
The PSU looks nice indeed. But buy it to get a PSU and then buy a custom case...nope, a bad idea.

They can make that, but they can't just make a simple update to the NSK1300 series so it isn't so hideous?

I believe it's the fact that they took consulting from MikeC for the P18* series and not luck.

Talk about fugly. I'll be right there with you on this one. I think Fry's occasionally has the P182's on sale for $100. I think 10 of those should be enough for whatever future builds I might want. If not, I can always re-use the cases when new tech comes out.

Thats not at all interesting. Whats interesting is that it uses a
straight through airflow design, which makes it easier to cool, it has less turbulance noise, but
with a 120mm fan. That is pure genius (so long as you can fit one in your case).

Antec doesn't have a single target customer, they aim at silent PC users, gamers and anything inbetween.
In a market where competition is big, it never hurts to try something new.

It's fugly. I really look forward to the next P1xx offering, but seriously hope it'll follow the outlooks of the current models.

Massive +1 there ... and exactly the word I was going to use - fugly. Hope Antec take the responses on board and sort it out a bit. It's a poor aesthetic copy of the Coolermaster look.

Eeeeew! That's awful
It looks NOTHING like an Antec case whatsoever. It looks like they've tried too hard. What were they thinking?

I went Lian Li when I realized the simplistic neat look was a thing of the past for Antec. They are like Thermaltake now, and it sucks :/

I couldn't agree more, I can't stand little LEDs illuminating my case, or any other kind of "case pimping"
That's exactly why I went with my Antec 300, pure simplicity

Same here. Antec 900 out, 300 in. I can't stand the blue lights and plastic window really. 300 is pure utilitarian dream. As is P182, except with those damn bright leds. If Antec could fix those, P182 would be perfect.
The blue led fans and bright leds seem to be worst in antecs todays products. Other than that, 1000 doesn't seem that bad.
