Biostar TPower I45 CPU Cooling

Post by EekTheCat » Wed Mar 11, 2009 10:17 am

Anybody knows if a full tower heatsink like Xigmatek HDT-S1283 on a Biostar TPower I45 will fit in an Antec Sonata II?
Am planning on using this mobo with the old case. I think that the tower heatsink's height won't be an issue. My concern is with the space between the fins and the PSU, seeing how the placement of the mobo's CPU socket is higher than normal.
Any suggestion will be appreciated.

It will fit, question is wether it fits so fan exhaust towards rear fan or maybe only so that it blows towards PSU. However there should not be any real problems as in LGA 775 you can freely rotate coolers.
