10,000,000 POINTS - TEN MILLION!!!!!
My turn.
Holy xxxx!
Added - The extreme FAH reporting site states that Cordis's next milestone is 5 months away. This seems ridiculous, until you realize that his next milestone is 20,000,000 and not 11,000,000.
So one again -

Thanks Aris, always appreicate being noticed.
I saw that next milestone time too and checked some of the groups higher up, it's a little daunting but interesting. I doubt I'll even make it to 20 million in 5 months, I upgraded the motherboard in my htpc to an i7-860 around christmastime, which left me with a free motherboard. Got a case for that one a couple weeks ago (fortress f02, very nice) and it's started up now and running, so that will kick things up for a little while, but I think I'll start turning off some of the less ppd/Watt efficient machines once I break into the top 500. Although it would be nice to hang out at around 66k a day, that's roughly where you need to be for 2 million a month.

In my case the quad pc, the last gpu never worked. I removed it, and then GPU 1 started failing, the last card in the slot that are only 8 bit lanes. (On quad board with the 790FX chipset 2 slots are 16 or 8 bit lanes and the other 2 slots are always 8 bit or not used.) You see this as quad slots with 2 different color schemes.
I've since dropped down to 2 cards, hence they get all 16 lanes. This never gave me trouble, only those other 2 slots. The switching is done electronically.
I now have 2 leftover GPUs but I will be building an Ubuntu Server so I can start coding PHP5, Joomla, and some other stuff.
I have to face the possibility that the remainder of my time may be spent working from home on small contract project for adequate money and little else. If a real job does come along I may do this as well as added income. If it remains trouble free I may fold on the server.

no heat
Yeah, I haven't had the heat on all winter, actually, and occasionally I still have to put the A/C on. There is a downside though, a couple days ago my place lost power because of some storms going through, and it got pretty cold in my place quickly. The power went off at around 4:30am, and damn was it hard getting out of bed that morning.
And hey Aristide, setting up an Ubuntu system is always fun, if you want to do any folding on it let me know if you need any tips, I have that pretty much down to a little checklist of items to go through. Fairly simple if you don't mind command line stuff.

To give people an idea at how things have changed take a look at the 100,000 point thread. It's pretty large, and must have been quite a milestone in its day.NeilBlanchard wrote:It is amazing how fast you folks are Folding these days! When I started, 100PPD was a HUGE number, and now you GPU Folders are doing that about every minute, I think?

Thanks!
I'm salivating over a Sandy Bridge @ 4.8 GHz...
So we will see what happens to my one-machine score.
